shit - i can kind of remember this but it's been so long that i can't remember the specifics at all. i remember that when suny joined the fandom, she was a rei-stan who shipped mh, and paper-lilies kinda latched onto her for info about the jp fandom. they were friends, but p-l was a total wanker and suny very publically Hated the Wank.

there was an incident (of p-l being wanky, as was her wont) and i remember suny tweeting about how she had had disagreements with p-l in private. (i think ppl here wanted suny to publically confront p-l b/c of aforementioned hatred of wank, but suny also hated confrontation so idk what they were expecting exactly.) tbh, i don't follow suny/denkimouse, i just remember that when she reappeared on meme again months later, she had distanced herself from wanky mh twitter clique and was hanging out with the makorins.

there wasn't a huge drama. she just took up multishipping, started spending her time with a different faction and quietly fell out with p-l. that's what i think happened anyway - don't take it for gospel because it's been years.

Did someone else expect a little....something? Not even S3 news, but just something new about Free! I don't really understand why they're not keen milking the franchise when it proved to be so successful? Instead they resorted to expanding High Speed!! universe and we know how that turned out (clue, not as successful, if the HS movie and merch sales outside of OT5 tell.) Other animes reach four seasons and such and are not even as commercially succesful as Free so I feel disappointed. There is so much that can be done, like they can follow RIn and Haru training for Olympics, Makoto and Sousuke in college, and Nagisa, Rei, Gou running the swim club. Then they can run an Olympic-centered movie come RL Olympic season.

Please lets talk about this. Maybe it's just separation anxiety and god there are so much better shows to get addicted to. But I refuse to believe this is the last we will see of this show. There is talk of another movie right? What else?

More ship weeks are always good since that means more fanworks, but anybody thinks RinHaru is oversaturated? There was Sakurathon, the recently finished rinharuweek, now there is Rinharurin NSFW, and there's also harurintercourse, which is another RH NSFW week. Not to mention 30DoR gets primarily RH submissions (not the blog's fault which tries to accommodate all, but influenced by the mods in a way). And not even a span of six months in between. It's easy to organize events, but submissions take time, and it will be no wonder if contributors get ship week-fatigue because there is. A. LOT.

The RHR NSFW Week is sandwiched between Sourin and Rinrei Weeks too, two ships that hold their weeks yearly, only 1-2 times. Granted though, they announced their event first (December 4). Rinrei Week announced their event December 26, Sourin announced January. But that's an aside. The point is, too many RH events. How is the turn-out of each?
